An Out of This World Wellness Challenge
What could be more fun than a space exploration-themed physical activity program? Star Trak is more than just a walking challenge. This program takes the concept to new heights, propelling participation to hyperdrive.
To Boldly Go
Reach for the stars is more than a metaphor as participants aim for red, yellow, or blue stars corresponding to a step count of 6000, 8000, or 10,000. Each succeeding color denotes greater intensity and achievement

Participant Experience
When a new star comes into view, “Trakkers” are rewarded with another science, pop culture, or literature image and description of unique eras — from early space exploration through deep space travel and beyond.

Features
We make it easy for participants to be successful in feeling their best:
Option to sync with Apple Health, Health Connect, and all major tracking devices
Full featured mobile app for logging on the go
Daily tips, interactive message board plus team, buddy, and individual leaderboards

Why A 10,000 Step Challenge?
Star Trak inspires participants of all abilities to go a step beyond where they are today:
- Increase in daily steps is associated with lower risk of premature death (all-cause mortality)1
- For most adults, health benefits accrue up to about 10,000 steps a day2
- More steps/day, again up to about 10,000, are linked to decreased risk of cancer and cardiovascular disease3
- The relationship between daily steps and risk of dementia reveals the optimal number is 9826, to be exact. 4

Biking, Swimming, Group Fitness — It All Counts
If it’s not trackable with a device, we do the math for participants — no one gets left behind.

Simple. Fun. Motivating.
If your employees or clients like Walktober or Go Gold, they’re going to love Star Trak and its focus on these positive elements:
- Creativity and innovation at work are influenced by feeling a sense of progress and meaning5
- Easy-to-visualize goals enhance commitment and effort6
- New experiences can enhance learning7
- High levels of hope and curiosity are associated with reduced risk of disease.8
